Research and Planning: Designing an ESting

I propose to make a claymated Esting as I have had previous sucess in that format. My Larry the Dinosaur claymation piece was very funny to make, shoot and edit. Im also not interested in the other formats such as time lapse photography.

Larry the Dinosaur, my main character is strolling around in the woods, when he comes across an unsual bunny rabbit shaped in the E4 logo. He chases after the rabbit before catching and eating it. Purple gue oozes out of his mouth. My ESting will be set in a forest environment, with dead tree trunks and general vegitiation grwoing widly. I cannot foresee the future, however from previous experience, claymation can be difficult as molds can break and colours can accidently mix creating an unappealing character. I shouldnt have problems with resources as the college has a large mixture of clay and equipment. The location could be an issue as I would like a large set in order to create the woodland background inlcuding trees, logs, vegitation and little animals.

My ESting is primarlity aimed at young teens aged between, 13-18. The claymation aspect relates to a younger audiance, however the gore/violence apsect targets the older teens. Both elements allows teens of all ages to hopefully relate to the ESting.  My ESting may also interest other claymation and animal lovers however the gore apect might be too much for most animal lovers. However i do believe that they would find the claymated characters very interesting to watch.
